Scope Of Work
The Regal Cinemas at LA Live! is home to 14 theaters, including a premier theater. The building is four levels, with a footprint of approximately 151,587 square feet.
Structural steel detailing began while the building was still under design by the architect. When unresolved design direction in the premier theater threatened the schedule, the PCL team opted to continue detailing efforts around the contentious area, which kept the project on track and still allowed time for design completion. When everything was resolved, PCL brought in a separate, smaller crane to erect the steel in the affected area. This resequencing effort helped PCL meet the originally scheduled completion date.
