Black Creek Builders, Inc. is a licensed, full-service general contractor specializing in commercial restaurant build-outs, tenant improvements, multi-unit mixed-use construction, residential additions and remodels, and historical renovations. With licensed electricians and plumbers on staff, we provide in-house services in all the major trades.

Company founder Travis Wirt is a Bay Area native and third generation contractor. With a passion for bold ideas and a drive to expand, Travis grew out of his roots in residential restoration, into larger and larger projects—from whole-house remodels and additions, to new construction, and then into commercial construction.

During the burgeoning Bay Area development surge, Black Creek made a name for itself as a go-to contractor for restaurant build-outs, tenant improvements, historical revitalization, and multi-unit residential and retail development projects. In 2019, Black Creek Builders was awarded one of the Top 10 Best General Contractors in Oakland by GC Magazine.

That’s why our team of carpenters, plumbers, electricians, project managers, accountants, and administrators has been together for a long time.
