Scope Of Work
This project consists of a 32,000 square foot building housing a state-of-the-art multiplex 10 screen theater, with the ability to expand to 14 screens. The facility boasts the only large format screen in the Upper Peninsula and Northern Wisconsin as well as 3D digital systems. With all 10 theaters at full capacity, the multiplex will hold 1,115 people in stadium-style and VIP seating. The development also includes a 280-space parking lot and drive-through concessions.
The project was constructed using U.P. trades workers who battled challenging weather conditions winter construction. Despite the bitterly cold conditions, the accelerated schedule was met, breaking ground September 2013 and opening in May 2014.
