Scope Of Work
The Ohio Presbyterian Retirement Services (OPRS) hired Quandel in collaboration with Mellott Construction to provide construction services for a new independent living facility on their Mt. Pleasant campus outside of Cincinnati. The project is a 46,000 SF “brownstone” independent living building with 20 one- and two-bedroom apartments and an underground parking garage.
Quandel worked closely with the owner to develop a cost range that would make this project financially viable while achieving their goals of high quality construction. Because of Quandel’s experience on similar facilities, combined with the subcontractor relationships we have nurtured throughout central and southwest Ohio, our team was able to develop strategic bid packages that allowed OPRS to build a quality facility at a reasonable price. The team also worked closely with the architect throughout the pre-construction phase to develop a partnership on behalf of the best interests of OPRS.
