Growing up in Ventura, California, Bailey Hochhalter found his love of woodworking at the age of 10. Raised with a strong work ethic, he was often tasked with fine carpentry projects after school and on weekends by his father, an accomplished general contractor who served Montecito and Santa Barbara. Bailey continued to work with his father until he set off for school at the University of California, Santa Barbara, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in business economics. After graduation, Bailey returned to his roots in the trades, picking up framing work. With his expertise in all facets of construction, he moved up quickly to finish carpentry foreman, general foreman, general contracting partner, and now owner and operator of Clear Construction.
