THE MODS INTERNATIONAL STORY

MODS stands for Modular On Demand Structures. MODS’ president, Doug Larson, got the idea for MODS International after his construction company, Orion Builds, sent building crews down to New Orleans to assist after the devastation of Hurricane Katrina. He had purchased motor homes to house the crews in during the rebuilding efforts. Upon returning to Wisconsin with the motor homes, he noticed a shipping container nearby where the vehicles were parked. He immediately took note of the similar size of the container and the motor homes. A few months later, MODS began producing temporary homes using single 40 foot containers.

Over the years, our clients have tasked us with creating various container-based structures. We are now fully immersed in both residential and commercial builds, as well as mobile and temporary structures.

Our standard MODS come in a variety of floor plans for safe, comfortable long or short term residency, as well as a wide range of custom structural applications limited only by your imagination. If you have a special need we will design and build it. MODS can be used anywhere. No limitations! We take care of every step in your build. We can even include all of the furniture for you making your home or display completely turnkey.
