Scope Of Work

BEAR built a building on top of an existing single-story structure on the OSF Heart of Mary Medical Center Urbana campus. Class IV infection control requirements were maintained during the entire project without disrupting daily procedures in two adjacent surgical suites and the lab below. The addition houses two GE Discovery machines, which are state-of-the-art technology to treat heart, vascular and neuro patients. This is only the second location in the world to be installed on a former roof.
