Scope Of Work
This Phase II design project consisted of the reconstruction and widening of Weber Road from Normantown Road to Rodeo Drive in order to provide 3 lanes in each direction separated by a variable width barrier median. The total net length of the project is approximately 1.57 miles. As part of the reconstruction, a new closed drainage system was introduced, and traffic signals were modernized and interconnected. Also included in the project scope was the interchange improvement of I-55 at Weber Road. Utilizing the existing structure to carry northbound traffic and a new structure to carry southbound traffic, the existing configuration converted to a diverging diamond interchange. Ardmore Roderick prepared the pavement marking and signing plans and the respective cost estimate, quantities and specifications. We also assisted with the preparation of the proposed drainage plans, profiles and quantities as well as the ADA ramp detail sheets.
