Scope Of Work

SCOPE OF WORK: SECURITY GUARD SERVICES
This below dutes are listed as the scope of work.

1. Uniformed, certified, professional security officer working 24 hours per day, seven (7) days per week for the duration of the project. This includes any holidays
2. Complete post orders and training at no additional cost to client
3. The Security Officer shall maintain and provide records of daily reports. Reports are to note any incidents, conditions and what actions were taken, if any. These reports are to be submitted electronically to Swinerton Builders on daily basis.
4. The Security Officer shall make intermittent patrols around the site fence perimeter and building area during contract hours at least one rotation an hour.
5. The Security Officer shall provide and maintain deterrent signage on site fencing.
6. Any immediate emergencies are to be reported by the Security Officer without delay, including if appropriate, notification to the local police, fire or medical emergency department. Security Officer shall not, except as is necessary to protect him or her from personal harm, attempt to physically apprehend intruders or other unauthorized persons.
7. Source of water and power to be provided by Swinerton Builders. Actual hookup to be performed by Security Officer.
8. Access to areas to be observed shall be provided by Swinerton Builders.
9. Provide own cell phone, fire extinguishers, first aid kits, and other tools, equipment, etc. as necessary.
10. All time cards and accounting back-up information must be included before any payment will be processed.
11. Patrol company to provide rotation substitution of guards so that overtime is avoided. The next guard is to arrive approximately 15 minutes prior to the prior to the end of the guard on duty for any transfer of knowledge, duties, etc.
12. Overtime must be approved min 72 hours in advance by Swinerton.
13. Perform intermittent patrols of the jobsite and document these walks in reports. These reports will be available for Swinerton’s review upon request.
14. Agreement is based on coverage beginning at 12:00 am to 12:00 pm – 24/7 Sunday to Sunday. Contract amount based on 168 hours/week ($XXXX/week). We anticipate minimum of 21 months will be required. Should services be required beyond 21 months, a change order will be issued.
15. Holidays that fall during the week and require security services will be paid at overtime rate. See Attachment D. Holidays will be New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day
16. Include all labor reporting, certified payrolls and tracking as required by LAWA.
17. Attend PLA meetings as required.
