Scope Of Work
Salt Lake City-based Kenworth Sales Co. hired Garco Construction to build a new 41,500-square-foot facility in Post Falls. The new commercial truck sales and service location is north of the Tedder Business Center and the Red Lion Inn & Suites Post Falls. NBW Architects PA, of Idaho Falls, Idaho, designed the new facility. The single-story structure includes retail space for new and used truck sales, rental and leasing office space, a repair and body shop, a paint booth and mixing room, a driver’s lounge, and an employee break room. The site also will have a dog park and a picnic area for drivers. In total, 167 parking stalls and an additional 25 trailer parking stalls are included in the plans. About 35 people will be employed at the facility.
