Alston Construction has built distribution facilities for more than 20 years, but had not experienced anything like it did when completing Carlisle Tire’s distribution facility. The project was completed amid two hurricanes and two tropical storms, while keeping the project on-time and under budget by more than $350,000!
The Carlisle Tire project was a 676,000-square-foot distribution facility situated on more than 91-acres. The project features more than 144 docks and 50’ x 50’ bay spacing, serving as the company’s main southeast distribution hub.
Hurricanes or not, this project was a great success for Carlisle Tire and Alston Construction.
