Scope Of Work
SC Builders has performed over 75 projects for Sony, including office renovations with unique and high-end finishes as well as technical projects that include server rooms and sound studios. This particular Sony project—global and Americas region headquarters for Sony Interactive Entertainment (PlayStation)—encompasses three five-story buildings. Each building has one specialty floor with complex design elements such as a dining hall and cafe, a conference center and grand reception area, and a floor with 17 sound studios, a mix master control room, and a recording studio, where Sony creates sound effects for PlayStation video games. All construction was performed while at least one building was occupied at all times. Despite this challenge, the schedule was met for all phased moves.
