Scope Of Work
Church of Philippi is a 47,000 sf church currently under construction at about 80% completion located in Hanover, Maryland near Arundel Mills Mall.
For this Korean-American congregation, Hammen Contracting, Inc. is constructing a unique church containing a 750 seat sanctuary, complete with a digital A/V system and theatrical lighting, that can be easily expended to 1000 seats as their congregation grows over the next several years with an additional expansion of 40,000 sf of classrooms and administrative spaces already planned for the future factored into the original design.
This building additionally contains many classrooms, a small chapel, multiple youth areas, a larger multipurpose space for worship, youth activities, and congregational fellowship and is served by a full kitchen.
