Scope Of Work
Hangar 110 was originally constructed for use as a sea plane hangar at Patuxent River NAS in the 1940’s. The Hangar now serves to house a stable of over forty glider, propeller driven and jet powered aircraft, of both fixed and rotary winged types. Primary, general repair, maintenance and flight line services are provided and include engine repair and servicing, avionics, hydraulics and controls repair and maintenance, minor structural and skin repair, storage of pilot gear and the archiving of maintenance records.
The purpose of this design/build project is to comprehensively renovate the Hangar 110 roadside lean-to, both Hangar high bays, boiler house and roofs , in order to meet the criteria and requirements for a modern aircraft Hangar facility.
Rich Moe Enterprises, LLC., is a joint venture partner with Coakley & Williams Construction and provided Comprehensive Internal Design (CID), exterior work, site work, fire protection, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and Data communications.
