Scope Of Work
The U.S. Army Heritage and Education Center is the nation’s premier facility for interpretation, research, and preservation of the Army’s history. The Museum Support Facility provides the Army a world class facility for protecting and preserving the military’s rich history.
The support facility project included a 35,000 SF Museum designed to provide curation, conservation and storage of historical artifacts and art. The project also includes reception; administrative; operations; shipping, receiving and crating of sensitive artifacts; supply, storage, hazardous material storage, vehicle/large artifact receiving and treatment; packing and shipping; paper conservation and specialized laboratory and facilities; freezing facility for infested, wet and moldy specimens; disabled weapons vault; meeting rooms; housekeeping/restrooms; staff break areas; and mechanical, electrical, and telecommunications rooms.
RME was a joint venture partner with Coakley Williams Construction, RME provided self-performance work as well as staff support for the JV team. this state of the art facility.
