Mac graduated from the University of Washington in 2001 with a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management. He joined the WA Patriot team in 2013 bringing an extensive background in commercial contracting. As Vice President, Operations, Mac brings value to our projects as oversight, providing direction and assistance to his project teams, making certain they maintain an effective balance between time, cost, quality, and safety. Mac values a work-life balance and enjoys spending time with his family, which includes camping trips, fishing and hunting, water sports and motorcycle riding.

Mickey graduated from the U.S. Military Academy in 2001 with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. He completed 5 years as an Army Officer, where he developed excellent leadership, team building, and management skills. He began his career in the construction industry as a Project Manager for Wade Perrow Construction. This fueled his passion and the drive to establish his own company, Washington Patriot Construction, which he established as the “next generation” of builders. Mickey’s vision for the future of the company is for the WA Patriot team to successfully LEAD, BUILD, SERVE, and LIVE with a healthy work-life balance.

Alex Powell joined the WA Patriot team with an electrical background where he spent 6+ years becoming a journeyman electrician and project manager. He has always been interested in the complexity of the construction process and he has moved into a leadership role managing some of WA Patriot’s complex projects involving heavy electrical scopes.

Alex enjoys sailing and mountain biking with his wife in his free time.

Kristin graduated from Western Washington University in 2008 with a BA in Studio Art and a minor in Business. She has been in the construction industry since 2010, and ran her own residential general construction company from 2014-2019. She decided she wanted to expand her knowledge and learn more about the commercial side of construction, so she joined WA Patriot. Kristin also has a home-based baking business where she enjoys creating edible works of art for birthdays, weddings, showers and parties. She is an avid traveler, tennis/Seahawks/general sports fanatic, cook and DIYer.

Lauren graduated from WSU with a BA in Interior Design and a minor in Construction Management. Lauren has always had an interest in the entire design and construction process. In her free time, she loves exercising, finding her next adventure, cooking, and spending time with family and friends.

Mikhail graduated from the University of Washington with a degree in Construction Management and in Architecture. In 2015, Mikhail had a summer internship with WA Patriot and became a permanent team member soon after he graduated. Prior to graduating from UW, Mikhail placed 2nd in a Nationwide Design-Build DBIA competition and 3rd in a Design-Build AGC competition. Mikhail is detail-oriented, he exercises good judgment, and his time management skills allow him to multi-task efficiently and effectively. When not working he enjoys traveling and the great outdoors.

Neil joined the WA Patriot team in 2013 bringing nearly 20 years of industry experience. He decided to pursue a career in construction after discovering that he enjoyed working with his hands while assisting his family with repairs and remodels on several of their rental homes. He graduated with a degree in Construction Management in 1998 from the University of Washington. Neil’s ability to cultivate and preserve relationships with owners and architects makes him a valuable asset to the WA Patriot team. While not at work, Neil is involved with Young Life of Greater Olympia, where he enjoys sharing his faith with the youth in his community.

Project Manager Phil Thornton brings years of industry experience in both the Superintendent and Project Management role. His primary focus is leading WA Patriot’s projects for The Boeing Company at their Auburn, Frederickson, Kent, Seattle and Tukwila campuses.

Rob graduated from Washington State University (Go Cougs!) with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Management. He joined the WA Patriot team in 2021 bringing experience in residential construction and leading commercial tenant improvements projects. Outside of work, Rob enjoys time with family and friends, including camping, hiking, mountain climbing, boating, sports and games of all kinds and travel to anywhere that is warm and includes a beach.

Zerah came to WA Patriot in 2009 with a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from Washington University in St. Louis and a Master of Science in Construction Management from the University of Washington. As one of WA Patriot’s most versatile Project Managers, she has been promoted to Sr. Project Manager. She also holds a DBIA professional designation and LEED AP. Zerah appreciates that her career allows her the opportunity to combine her passion for design with her love of the outdoors. When she isn’t at work, Zerah enjoys exploring the Northwest and hiking with her husband and two boys.

Carole’s career in the construction industry began working for WA Patriot’s legacy firm, Wade Perrow Construction, where she was afforded the opportunity to learn and work in all aspects of the company. She transitioned to WA Patriot in 2013, where she continues her role in the Marketing department managing and organizing the proposal development process, handling public relations and promotional activities, and sharing the WA Patriot story. Outside of work, Carole enjoys camping, golfing, concerts at the Gorge, and spending time with her family (which now includes a granddaughter!)

Carrie began her career in accounting in the early 1990’s and has been with WA Patriot since 2013. She is primarily responsible for Accounts Receivable/Payable and Contract Administration but often assists in a variety of other accounting roles when necessary. With her unparalleled attention to detail and excellent time management skills, it comes as no surprise that her specialty lies in processing client billings accurately and swiftly. Carrie has a thirst for knowledge and is in constant pursuit of furthering her expertise in the accounting field. 

Dave has been in the construction industry since the early 1980’s and spent 14 years managing the financial records of Wade Perrow Construction before he transitioned over to WA Patriot in 2009. Dave has a BA in Accounting and is a Certified Construction Industry Finance Professional (CCIFP). He oversees WA Patriot’s Accounting and Information Technology departments, ensuring company financial records are in order and that company policies are being adhered to. Outside of work, Dave enjoys being outdoors on his bicycle and spending quality time with his wife.

Dayna joined our team as Assistant Controller in 2021 and is responsible for month-end closing of financials, daily processing of cash receipts, posting of cash transactions, and review/administration of contracts. She has a Finance Degree from Portland State University, MBA from University of Portland, and is a CPA.

Ernesto holds a BBA in Accounting from Interamerican University, and an MBA in Finance from Metropolitan University of Puerto Rico. Ernesto previously worked for Pepsi Cola Distributing as a payroll supervisor.

Erik joined the Carpenters Union in the early 1990’s, working his way up from Apprentice to Journeyman Carpenter, and naturally transitioned into the role of Superintendent. Erik started working for Wade Perrow Construction in 1990, where he learned invaluable skills on unique projects before his transition to WA Patriot in 2011. He is a well rounded construction professional with strong leadership skills. When not putting in long hours at work, Erik enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter.

Frank steadily worked his way through the apprenticeship program, where he worked alongside some of WA Patriot’s most experienced Superintendents on a wide range of projects. His excellent work ethic, communication, and leadership skills are what make him a valued WA Patriot Superintendent. Frank is passionate about spending quality family time with his wife and two boys enjoying the abundance of outdoor activities that the Pacific Northwest has to offer.

Jessica graduated from Boise State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology in 2020. She loves to learn new things and to see how she can apply psychology to a variety of fields. Outside of work, Jessica loves to go on road trips, read, and spend time with her friends and family.

At the age of 12, John began working nights and weekends at a commercial construction site doing cleanup work to help his mother make ends meet. He’s come a long way, and today he is one of WA Patriot’s most versatile and trusted Superintendents, often filling the roles of both Superintendent and Project Manager on projects to which he is assigned. John worked for Wade Perrow Construction for a number of years before joining the WA Patriot team in 2014. In his free time, he and his wife, Karna Jo, are devoted Ducks football fans who travel all over the United States to support their favorite team.
