Scope Of Work
Diffenbaugh was the General Contractor for LACCD on the new Student Services Center at Los Angeles Valley College. The new center will serve as the gateway to the campus with a connection to public transportation and a one-stop-shop for the students. The project consists of two new buildings that include a 26,000 sf steel-framed structure and an 11,500 sf steel structure. The buildings will house: administration and records, financial aid, student union facilities and multi-purpose room, disabled student programs and services, tutoring facilities with computer lab for testing and placement, and career transfer and counseling program spaces. Both buildings will be LEED Silver certified upon completion.
