Scope Of Work
Safavieh is an international home furnishings corporation, occupying warehouse space and manufacturing facilities on three continents. Founded in Isfahan in 1914, Safavieh has had tremendous growth and has been based out of the United States since 1978.
Due to tremendous growth, Safavieh contracted a second time with Evans to design and build two additional distribution facilities. Building A is a 1,164,800 sf cross dock facility and Building B is a 752,000 sf cross dock facility. Both Class A warehouse buildings are constructed of conventional steel frame and concrete tilt-up wall panels with a .60 Mil TPO roof membrane, ESFR fire suppression system, LED lighting throughout and 32,570 sf of administrative office space. The 40-foot clear height facilities include 440 dock doors, eight drive-in ramps, site security fencing and a 185-foot deep concrete truck court on both sides – providing a total of 577 trailer parking spaces.
