Scope Of Work
VanTrust Real Estate, LLC contracted Evans General Contractors to design-build an e-commerce facility in Jacksonville, FL. The facility is located on 85 acres in Imeson Park where Evans has been involved in numerous builds. This massive project totals 1.7 million sf, has over 90,000 sf of office space, 1.1 million sf of warehouse space, and a 463,000 sf robotics and MHE (material handling equipment) mezzanine.
There are 1,559 parking spaces and 490 trailer parking spaces, 2 guardhouses, 89 dock doors and a 250,000 gallon water tank for the fire sprinkler system, MHE conveyor and pick up module systems, and 9 VRC (Vertical Reciprocating Conveyor) Lifts. Evans’ scope of work included all site work, building construction, and a full tenant improvement package inclusive of fire protection.
