Scope Of Work
Evans General Contractors was contracted by KeHE Distributors on a design-build expansion to their existing facility in Aurora, Colorado.
The 162,854 SF expansion included 2 Freezer Storage spaces totaling 40,042 SF and 43,172 SF of Cooler Storage spaces. Also included 6,948 SF of administrative spaces on the 2nd floor, including a breakroom/kitchen area and individual offices. The new warehouse features include 14 cold docks, racking systems, Freon refrigeration systems, and fire protection systems. Evans and team were able to complete this expansion while the Cold Storage areas remained fully operable.
This facility is LEED Certified.
