Scope Of Work

Lake Region Medical, now a part of Integer Holding Corporation, is one of the largest medical device outsource manufacturers in the world. Integer offers comprehensive products and services in medical device outsourcing. Lake Region Medical  engaged Scannell Properties, a leading national commercial build-to-suit developer specializing in logistics, office, government and mixed use spaces, and Evans for a build-to-suit design-build renovation of their existing facility in Trenton, GA.

The existing 40,000 sf pre-engineered building received a 41,000 sf addition containing offices with mezzanine, staff support areas and cleanrooms for device manufacturing and assembly. The support areas included locker rooms, cafeterias, and conference spaces. The cleanroom included 6,300 sf of ISO-8 production space and gowning area constructed using a modular wall system. The modular system included walls, doors, ceilings, pass through chambers, and vision panels. Fan powered HEPA filter units were employed to achieve the appropriate classification along with HVAC controls, humidifiers, and door interlocks. The 26,569 sf office is constructed of a conventional steel frame with brick and EIFS, and a TPO membrane roof.

The 40,000 sf existing building shell received significant upgrades along with extensive renovations. These renovations included non-classified spaces to support device manufacturing and assembly including machine shop, automation office, and material storage. The project scope involved a comprehensive site work package including expansion of parking areas to 3 sides of the building.
