Scope Of Work
Reduced two sources of sound transmission between units. (1) Hot tub motor and plumbing in bathrooms were above the sleeping areas. The enclosures were opened up, isolation materials (Enkasonic Underlayment over 2” of gypcrete on top of existing plywood subfloor) were installed & then acoustically tested. All supply lines were wrapped and traced for wood framing contact. This new assembly was tested and achieved acceptable STC ratings. (2) Common walls were opened and RC channel and mineral wool bats were installed. This new assembly was tested and achieved acceptable STC ratings.
