Scope Of Work
Animal Hospital Doors Automation and Security Entry Project
Project Scope: FixaCal was commissioned to automate the doors at an Animal Hospital and enhance security by implementing card readers and FOB readers, including the necessary programming to ensure seamless operation.
Challenges Addressed: The owner requested the installation of switches that could open the door from the front desk and emergency lock-down switches to prevent animals from running away during office hours when doors are unlocked. These requirements conflicted with the fire department's regulations. To resolve this, we programmed and installed all necessary interfacing for the open and lock-down functions, ensuring compliance with fire safety standards.
Innovative Solutions Implemented: To overcome these challenges, we designed a customized integration plan that allowed for the new system to be installed with minimal downtime. We also implemented advanced programming techniques to ensure that the card and FOB readers were highly responsive and easy for staff to use. Training sessions were provided to ensure all staff members were comfortable with the new system.
Client Feedback: The client was highly satisfied with the outcome, praising the improved security and convenience provided by the automated doors and new entry system. The seamless integration and minimal disruption during installation were particularly appreciated, and staff members found the new system intuitive and efficient.
By detailing this project, FixaCal highlights its capability to deliver sophisticated security solutions that enhance both functionality and user experience in critical environments like animal hospitals.
