Al Wurster's Bio
Albert’s first work experience with Wurster Construction began during high school as summer employment. His professional career began in Denver, Colorado, where he received a college internship with Jansen Southwest Construction’s subsidiary. Then, in 1986, Albert began working full-time for Wurster Construction, with involvement in every aspect of the company. Today, as President, managing the operations of the company and leadership are Albert’s primary responsibilities.

Kevin’s experience has been focused singularly on the firm’s relationship with our clients and our “friends in the industry” to include our trade contractors, architects, engineering firms and consultants. Kevin’s role includes the Marketing and Business Development functions for several local construction firms in Central Indiana. Kevin has enjoyed over 25 years in the design and construction industry and has built a solid reputation in understanding the project requirements for planning and developing the project team for many of the most significant projects in Indiana. Kevin has significant experiences in Healthcare, Education, Retail, Commercial Office, Senior Living, Religious and Institutional projects.
Steve Hodgson's Bio
Steve began his career in the educational field at a local private Catholic preparatory high school. After 9 successful years of coaching and teaching, Steve left the position of Vice Principal and Dean of Students to enter into private business. Following Sales and Marketing positions at ITTES, Steve joined the corporate staff of a multidiscipline engineering firm, Atec Associates. Marketing environmental and engineering services to a national client base, he was promoted to the position of Corporate Director of Sales for this 60 office firm. The last two years at ATC / Atec, he was Regional Manager with P/L and operational responsibilities for 6 offices. Currently Steve is a Principal and Chief of Operations, his responsibilities include overseeing daily operations of the company from production and administration to safety and marketing.

Ben Imel's Bio
Ben possesses a strong knowledge of the details that keep a large construction project moving. His participation with a variety of projects in a wide range of sizes endows him with the unique perspective that only “hands on” experience can bring. Ben’s areas of expertise include all stages of construction administration and project documentation including project start-up, contracts, control documents, schedule, materials coordination, and archive records for closeout.

Jeremy brings 19 years of estimating experience to Wurster Construction which includes, working relationships with many Central Indiana trade contractors and suppliers. Jeremy effectively applies his expertise on construction means and methods, as well as cost histories and the budgeting and estimating phases while remaining close to the project until completion.
Jim Woodworth's Bio
Jim’s is routinely involved from the beginning of the design phases providing multiple estimates in developing our client’s project construction budget. Jim remains close to the project, coordinating until completion. His past work with Timberline Software and other software programs gives him the advantage to help develop accountability for all of our clients to foster our “open book” approach with every estimate.

Jim has over 37 years of experience in the construction industry with a variety of projects including considerable time spent on large projects including K-12 schools, Colleges & Universities, parking garages, religious facilities, senior living and water treatment facilities. Expertise includes efficiently managing projects, scheduling, estimating, project accounting and working with Owners to complete quality construction projects with teamwork and open communication being the primary focus.

Joe offers our clients 25 years of experience in the construction industry and he has become very valuable in managing Wurster’s largest client. Joe has spent his entire 22-year tenure with Wurster in healthcare and works diligently with a significant number of renovation, re-use and capital within facilities. Joe’s demeanors works very well with the in-house Facilities Departments and operates effectively as an extension of their staff.
Joe Burgess's Bio
Joe has over 19 years of experience in the construction industry with extensive retail, banking and large, complex healthcare projects. He began his career as a Project Engineer and Construction Administrator and evolved into one of Wurster’s most capable Project Managers. Joe fosters an environment of teamwork and ensures that strategy is clearly defined while overseeing performance and maintaining morale. Joe’s strong communication and client service skills enhance Wurster’s capability to deliver on our promise to our clients.
Mike Shaw Shaw's Bio
As a project Superintendent, Mike possess a reputation for effectively promoting the development of outside contractors and consultants, with the ability to develop and motivate highly effective teams. His responsibilities include managing entire project sites, ensuring all requisite components are completed through Inspecting the work in progress to maintain compliance with the construction documents and specifications while ensuring quality and safety standards.

Morris’s project experience includes campus master planning, architectural design, and construction administration for a variety of clients, with significant experience in healthcare. Project types include those in the markets of healthcare, higher education, corporate, civic, sports and entertainment, and religious architecture. Phil Schmitt's Bio
Phil has extensive experience estimating the self-performance of concrete, masonry and carpentry. His role requires that he be involved from the beginning of the budgeting and estimating phases and remains close to the project until completion.
Randy S. Bond's Bio
Randy joined Wurster Construction with over 23 years of experience in the construction industry, which includes tremendous project experience in healthcare, laboratory, commercial office retail, and projects with complexity. Randy began his construction career as a journeyman with 15 years as a finish carpenter to gain first-hand field experience in the complexities of layout, visualization and concise estimating. Randy offers sound project management principles to reinforce the quality, client relationships, accountability and ethics so important to representing Wurster Construction.
Rick Moore's Bio
Rick began his career as a laborer right out of high school in 1986. When he began working for Wurster as a carpenter in 1998, he was eager to learn more. After completing the Carpenter Apprenticeship program through ABC (Associated Builders and Contractors) of Indiana, he was promoted to Assistant Superintendent and has since been involved in many projects at Wurster, including renovation, demolition and new construction.

Tim grew up around his grandfather’s construction company. He believes that is what started him out with the knowledge and the drive to succeed in all phases of the construction business. Tim pays close attention to the quality of work performed and takes pride in the finished product.
Tony Hentrup's Bio
Tony began his construction career over 39 years ago. He joined Wurster Construction over 15 years ago as a Project Superintendent overseeing the healthcare projects at IU Health. Tony has developed to become a “favorite” amongst our clients. Tony enhances each project to ensure that staff and subcontractors assigned to the site produce the quality craftsmanship that Wurster and our clients expect—while doing so in a safe and timely manner. Tony is keen on keeping subcontractors on task, with good coordination, so the next trade contractor can step in and complete their portion of the work immediately.
