Scope Of Work

Jim’s Local Market is one component of a larger, mixed-use development in the Southeast Community of Newport News. The second phase of this development project included Jim’s Local Market, as well as 18,000 square feet of retail shops on either side of the grocery store. The building is a steel structure with brick and architectural precast panels on its façade. The interior features exposed steel and polished floors.

Jim’s Local Market also includes a Bayport Credit Union branch within its walls with two ATMs. There is also a community room that can seat nearly 40 people comfortably and can be used as a gathering place for diverse purposes.
