Scope Of Work
This project consists of complete renovations to Phases “A-D” 10th & 11th floor administrative offices of the General Service Administration Building in downtown Boston. Total area was approximately 42,500 sf of interior renovation space. The scope of work included demolition, removal of all HVAC, electrical, plumbing equipment, existing partitions, ceilings, floor finishes, workstations, doors, frames, hardware, and millwork. construction included the modernization of workstations in an open floor space, safety systems, security systems, millwork, flooring and complete MEP package. To improve energy efficiency, we installed programmable energy management systems including; dimmable lighting, automatic shade systems by Lutron, and energy efficient mechanical equipment. The project achieved LEED GOLD Certification. This was the first major project to achieve this goal at the Tip O’Neil Building in Boston for the GSA.
