In 1989, Mr. Robert Prybutok established Polymer Technologies Inc.—a manufacturing facility. Since that time, Polymer Technologies has grown to become a leading manufacturer and supplier of noise control and energy management composites within the United States. Products are sold to a broad range of industries including aerospace, military, medical, power generation, and transportation. Polymer Technologies employs 110 full-time employees in Newark, DE and occupies an 87,000 square foot facility.
In 2003, Prybutok decided to expand upon the offerings of Polymer Technologies by branching out to create Polymer Molded Products (PMP). Located in northern New Jersey, PMP is a manufacturing arm of Polymer Technologies which produces 3-dimensional polyurethane molded parts for energy management applications in both industrial and healthcare markets. Jarred Prybutok's Bio

Jarred Prybutok is the Executive Vice President of Operations here at Polymer. Jarred graduated from the University of Delaware with a degree in Philosophy which offered him skills which he uses today to solve problems and empower employees. As the son of President and CEO Robert Prybutok, Jarred began learning about acoustics and materials for controlling noise from his father at an early age and has expanded his knowledge in manufacturing through the study and application of six sigma and lean manufacturing concepts.
Throughout his time at Polymer, Jarred has held various roles. He began his career with the company more than 20 years ago packaging insulation on the production floor as part of the Shipping Department, and later moved into manufacturing. While studying in college, Jarred also worked in Polymer’s Sample Department, and transitioned to a role in Sales upon graduating. Jarred then spent a period of time working as a Project Manager, before being promoted to Executive Vice President of Operations.
In his current role Jarred is responsible for overseeing the operations, and the quality and production of Polymer’s processes and products. While no day is the same for Jarred, his greatest task is trying to remove roadblocks in processes to ensure that staff members can perform their jobs as efficiently as possible. He’s always evaluating and dissecting processes, trying to remove any non-valued activity or looking for work that can be done in a better manner. All in all, Jarred works hard to make the processes Polymer has in place more efficient, and a big part of that is letting employees know they matter.
Jarred’s favorite part of his job is the people he gets to work with every day. Jarred relies on his creativity and ability to think outside the box when it comes to improving Polymer’s processes. He is not afraid to change any process that Polymer has in place, no matter how long we’ve been doing it. He loves talking to the staff about processes and hearing their thoughts and ideas about how they believe they could be more efficient in their role. Jarred is a huge proponent for real-time reporting of metrics on quality, delivery, and equipment performance, so that he can not only measure the effectiveness of processes, but so employees can see how they contribute to Polymer.
Jarred’s vision for Polymer is to continually keep improving upon processes. Along with this, he also strives to keep increasing the ease of doing business with Polymer Technologies. He works to accomplish these goals by working to continue offering seamless customer services, bringing in new equipment, and investing in products and technologies. Jarred wants manufacturing companies to see Polymer as not just a supplier, but an extension of their own manufacturing process, and as a company that will do whatever it takes to meet customer requirements andemergency needs so they can succeed.

![Jeremy Dayton - Polymer Technologies, Inc. Jeremy Dayton - Polymer Technologies, Inc.](https://pvu.thebluebook.com/inc/img/qp/200185/polymer-technologies-inc-jeremy-dayton-bio.jpg)
Jeremy Dayton, or JD as everyone here at Polymer calls him, is currently our EVP of Sales and Marketing. JD attended Wilmington College and Kennedy-Western University, completing his degree and obtaining a BA in Finance. Jeremy has been a long time employee of ours, exhibiting excellence and innovation throughout his 16+ year career at Polymer.
Initially starting at Polymer Technologies as a Sales Engineer, JD worked his way through the ranks andeventually stepped into the title of Program Director of Aerospace. In 2009, JD was promoted to EVP of Sales and Marketing because of the excellence and skill that he displayed in the area of sales and marketing.
JD is our jack of all trades and because of that, he interacts heavily with every part of the Polymer team. During his daily activities, JD deals directly with the sales team, including customer service reps, inside sales engineers, and regional managers. He is also actively involved in many of our company’s teams including the purchasing management, technical management, production management, and quality management teams.
Manager to Champions
JD has learned a few things in his years of managing Polymer team members. He likes to break down goals into short, mid, and long term objectives and then tackle each aspect in his daily activities, focusing on what is most critical to Polymer’s success. Much of his time is spent managing situations, crises, and circumstances involving associates, partners, and customers. He is an expert at effectively addressing each aspect of his job while not neglecting corporate objectives – something that requires excellent discipline and often times creative time management.
JD trusts his team immensely, never micro-managing but rather allowing his team members the freedom to prioritize daily activities and tactics. His team is self-motivated and has a competitive drive that is filled with positivity – a trait we also see exemplified in JD.
Depth of Knowledge
One of JD’s strongest skills is the depth and breadth of knowledge he has on our product line. He has spent years working with our products, customer base, and target markets; because of this, JD is one of our most knowledgeable team members. His critical thinking and decisive actions help us aggressively pursue new applications and opportunities.
One of JD’s favorite quotes perfectly exemplifies why he is an incredible person, employee, and family man – "Outcomes and life are greatly affected by your attitude and general perspective. The day is what you make of it."
