Scope Of Work
Klassen Corporation was commissioned by Grand & Elm Partners, LLC to construct a complete shopping center upgrade and modernization including the remodel of five existing buildings (69,481 s.f.), and construction of three new buildings (15,957 s.f.) located on the SW corner of E. Grand Ave. and Elm St. in Arroyo Grande, CA.
The resulting facility is a 7.26-acre commercial shopping center original constructed in 1953 modernized and updated into a state-of-the-art 2016 high-end commercial shopping center. The site and building construction activities were completed while keeping four of the existing lease tenant open for business during construction. Off-site improvements include Perimeter sidewalk and landscaping, road and median improvements, and removing existing overhead utilities and replacing them with new underground utility connections. On-Site improvements include all new Sewer, Fire & Domestic Water, Gas, and Electrical utility infrastructure installation. Earthwork & Grading for new buildings, all new Site Lighting, Parking
