Scope Of Work
Dumont Green, in Brooklyn, NY contains 176 units of affordable housing for low and middle income families with 16 Studio, 83 One-Bedroom, 65 Three-Bedroom apartments and 168,820 gross sq. ft. of residential space. Among its enhanced energy measures, Dumont Green has the largest solar PV system on a New York City multifamily building.
The design and construction team included the Hudson Companies, developer; MHG Architects; Sideris Kefalas Engineers; and general contractor Lettire Construction. The Association for Energy Affordability was the project’s NYSERDA Multifamily Performance Program Partner, providing energy consulting and construction management services, in collaboration with Bright Power.
Awards: The building was chosen for the Building Brooklyn “National Grid Energy Efficiency Award.”
