Scope Of Work
Nestled within the native landscape of the Greenbelt Forest Preserve between North Chicago and Waukegan, the Cultural Center’s location offers panoramic views and convenient access from Green Bay Road. The 7,000-square-foot building, outdoor amphitheater, and stage are utilized for various facility events for the Lake County Forest Preserve.
MTI added a second, “sister” building which is attached immediately northwest of the current Center. The Center expanded from its current 7,500 square feet to 18,500 square feet. The two connected buildings will offer a dedicated classroom space, a divisible multi-purpose program room, two community galleries, an outdoor amphitheater, and a small outdoor pond to accommodate environmental education programs.
