Andy’s professional construction career began in 1973. He has been with MTI since January, 1985, and became an owner on January 1, 1994. He has been extensively involved with the management and administration of all private and public work since 1985. Andy’s primary responsibilities are the execution, coordination, and overall-administration of every MTI project, from concept to closeout. Andy’s strengths include design review, preconstruction phase services, schedule and budget adherence, and dispute resolution. Andy’s experience in the public and private sectors has proven his ability to use risk management and foresight to eliminate possible change orders during the construction phase of the project. Andy was instrumental in the design, development, administration and implementation of the successful construction management process that MTI utilizes in the public sector.
Before MTI, Andy worked for Metropolitan Structures as Project Manager for 8 years on the One South Wacker, Boulevard Towers South, Chicago Mercantile Exchange South Tower, and the 175 N. Harbor Drive apartment building. Prior to Metropolitan Structures, Andy was with Schal Associates as Project Manager on the 33 West Monroe Street project. Andy is one of the leaders in the Chicago suburban construction industry and is active in the Association of Industrial RealEstate Brokers (AIRE) and the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR).
Andy graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture Design from the University of Illinois, Urbana/Champaign.
