Alten Construction joined forces with the San Francisco Recreation and Parks Department and Hamilton + Aitken Architects to renovate Mission Dolores Park. Performing the reconstruction in phases within the city of San Francisco, Alten Construction abated and demolished existing buildings; graded and placed site utilities and concrete retaining walls; and provided new irrigation, sodded lawns and landscaping. The project also included new restrooms and maintenance and operations facilities; tennis, basketball and multiuse courts; paved pathways; improved ADA access; and new bike racks and benches.
