Scope Of Work
The renovation consisted of construction of a new asphalt track with synthetic track surfacing. Along with general site improvements, Brantley removed the existing concrete block building and two existing asphalt basketball courts. We installed new Base Mat Structural Spray (porous) track surfacing for 400 m, 8-lane running track, long/triple jump, pole vault and east “D” zone to include high jump area and discus and shot put pads. Improvements were made to the drainage system including slot drain and trench drain systems along the interior of the track as well as construction of an underdrain system and stormwater control structure. A new irrigation system was installed for the interior field connected to the existing irrigation pump shed at the football field.
