Scope Of Work
The historic restoration of the State Theatre in Culpeper, Virginia, opened in 1938 as the Pitts Theatre, is the foundation of a cultural center for the region. The theatre and its expansion compliments existing attractions for local residents as well as offer a unique tourist destination for visitors. The extensive de-construction of this historic building took great care and detail to ensure the integrity of the original structure was not compromised. This project was funded in-part utilizing historic tax credits.
The theatre had it's Grand Opening in May 2013.
