Scope Of Work

Progressive Contracting Company, Inc. (PCCI) worked with Preservation North Carolina and the University of North Carolina Greensboro on the renovation of the UNC — G Chancellor’s House into the  Admissions Center. The interior and exterior renovations included the following:

parking lot construction

utility connections

walkways and complete landscaping

masonry restoration

 masonry elevator shaft construction

interior architectural woodwork restoration and recreation

door and hardware restoration and  door fabrication

salvage and reconditioning of interior plaster walls

 gypsum wall board partitions

ceramic tile flooring

hardwood floor refinishing and patching of the existing flooring

painting

elevator addition

sprinkler system addition

plumbing system upgrades

complete HVAC system installation

complete electrical system installation

PCCI is honored to have worked with Preservation North Carolina in their efforts to salvage the Chancellors House from near demolition to a modern and fully equipped admissions center.
