Scope Of Work
Bennett House is an affordable senior housing facility located in downtown Fairfax, CA. The project is currently underway, and the scope includes a full interior and exterior renovation, with new landscaping and site upgrades, including a PG&E transformer upgrade. The building exteriors are receiving new stucco, windows, shingle and PTO roofs, and new deck waterproofing. Also, a new maintenance building will be built, as well as upgrades to the community gardens. The unit interiors are receiving new mini-split HVAC units, finishes, cabinets, lighting and plumbing fixtures, appliances, energy efficiency upgrades, and ADA upgrades. The community room also received a complete revamp of finishes, lighting and plumbing fixtures, as well as a new kitchen. The roof will receive two new highly efficient air handlers to condition the hallways. All hallways and common areas are receiving new paint, flooring, lighting fixtures, and new plumbing shutoff valves for every unit. The staff and lobby areas will undergo an office expansion, and in addition to the new office, existing offices will receive an all new HVAC system, as well as finish and lighting upgrades. The project is expected to finish early 2021.
