Scope Of Work
The Emery Worldwide Building addition project included a 9,000 sf pre-engineered steel warehouse addition to an air cargo sort and distribution facility at SeaTac International airport. Business at this location remained in full operation while under construction.
Construction of the 48,521 square foot AeroGround building involved 16,000 sf of first and second floor office build-out, along with separate tenant spaces for five major international air carriers (SAS, EVA, British Airways, Lufthansa, and US Airways). The building also contains an air cargo sort and distribution facility with direct access to the Airplane Operations Area (AOA).
This project was successfully completed while meeting all of the tight security and badging requirements of the F.A.A. for Airplane Operations Area construction. Installation of sort systems, scales and equipment were done throughout both the Emery and Aeroground facilities.
