Situated along the Destin Harbor and Gulf of Mexico, this world-class, luxury resort features 283 deeded fractional and whole ownership residences within its two 13-story structures, and a 5 level, 110,000 SF parking garage capable of accommodating 712 vehicles. Nestled between the towers are 3 stories of recreational amenities including an indoor and outdoor pool, restaurant and bar, fitness center, banquet and meeting halls in addition to 75,000 SF of retail space and the Commander’s Palace restaurant at street level.
As construction manager, Moss worked closely with the owner, architect and specialty consultants to ensure all budget, schedule and logistical requirements were addressed prior to commencing work in the field. Special attention to safety and security was critical due to the project’s close proximity to an existing operating marina. Extensive communication and coordination with the local building department was also imperative to ensure that all code and compliance items were met. The assignment was completed on time and within budget.
