Scope Of Work
Built adjacent to an existing correctional facility, this 35,598 square foot one and two story addition includes a 235 bed dormitory for adult male inmates. The $16 million expansion also features a recreation area, basketball courts, covered walkways and retention pond. As part of the scope of work, Moss staff was also required to renovate segregation cages, showers, medical rooms and staff lockers in portions of the existing structures as well as adding classroom and visitation areas.
Moss provided several months of preconstruction planning services to ensure all budget, schedule and logistical requirements were addressed prior to commencing work in the field. The project represented one of 20 facilities that Moss has constructed for Corrections Corporation of America throughout the United States.
