Scope Of Work
When complete, this 4-story municipal office building will be the first LEED Silver City Hall in all of Broward, Dade, and Palm Beach counties. The new municipal complex is being constructed in the heart of the City’s business district and will provide workspace environments for the offices of the Mayor, Commissioners and City Manager departments. In addition, it will include a 150-seat Commission Chamber with a pre-function area, which will be open to the community and civic events. Proximity to adjacent commercial and a green public park space created safety and logistical challenges for on site crews who had limited access for staging and laydown.
Moss has worked closely with the owner, architect and our partner D. Stephenson Construction Company throughout the preconstruction planning phases to ensure all budget, schedule and logistical requirements were addressed prior to commencing work in field. Moss was able to save the owner in budget costs with several value engineering suggestions.
