Grinder, Taber & Grinder, Inc. is a full service commercial and industrial construction firm, which is in its sixth decade of continuous operations in the Memphis area.  The company provides building, construction management, cost estimating, and design / build services. 

The firm was founded in 1968 by Edward I. Grinder, Harold Taber, and Irven E. Grinder, and has remained a closely held, family run enterprise ever since, growing to its current size of over 100 employees.

Grinder, Taber & Grinder is a full service commercial and industrial construction firm, which is in its sixth decade of continuous operations in the Memphis area.  The company provides building, construction management, cost estimating, and design / build services. 

Over the course of its history, Grinder, Taber & Grinder has built a number of the city’s notable facilities:  Crosstown Concourse, multiple FedEx World Headquarters buildings, Rhodes College, Orgill World Headquarters, GPAC, Orpheum Center for Performing Arts, Hattiloo Theatre; Overton Square, Presbyterian Day School, and Second Presbyterian Church.

Although the complex projects the company has completed are noteworthy, Grinder, Taber & Grinder takes its greatest pride in the client relationships built during their construction.  By focusing on making the construction process as simple as possible, solving problems immediately with a family management team, and consistently honoring its commitments, the company has generated a wealth of repeat customers who are comfortable doing business on a handshake.

The company is now in its third generation of family ownership, led by Fred Grinder, Brett Grinder, and Justin Grinder as Managing Principals of the firm.
