Scope Of Work
Baker was selected to provide "turnkey" concrete construction services on the Buffalo Thunder Casino Resort project. This project was a 700,000 square foot casino and hotel project in northern New Mexico situated on the Pojoaque Pueblo. In addition to the concrete construction, Baker was also tasked with providing "design assist" and ready mix concrete supply activities. The structural concrete, to include deep auger pile foundations, was completed in 29 weeks with a total placed concrete quantity in excess of 48,000 cubic yards.
Design Assist: Baker worked, during the preconstruction phase, with the Architect and the Structural Engineer to provide design inputs in an effort to reduce cost and improve schedule
