Scope Of Work
Opening in 2012, a new ballpark for the Florida Marlins is under construction on the site of the former Orange Bowl. A distinguishing feature of the stadium will be its retractable roof-not because it's retractable, but because of the massive site-cast track beams it will move on.
The concrete shell is approximately 750,000 square feet (sf) of cast-in-place elevated concrete decks and rakers that will support precast stadium. Baker, along with Form Works, Inc., are the joint venture concrete contractors for the massive stadium project.
