Scope Of Work
Located on 600 acres west of Aurora Reservoir, the new Southeast Recreation Center will feature an array of recreational opportunities within a 62,000-square-foot facility.
The overall program was developed from extensive community engagement meetings and surveys by the City of Aurora, Populous and the Saunders Construction team.
The new center will feature:
Community Rooms
Indoor Pool with Waterslide
Fieldhouse
Fitness
Gymnasium
Indoor Walking/Running Track
Outdoor Workout Spaces
A new access road with supporting site infrastructure will also be developed to support the new facility.
The new recreation center is slated to open in early 2023.
