Our Story

Additional Product Information

Since 1910, Brooks Products has been a leader in the Precast Concrete Industry. From the invention of America's first Precast Water Meter Box , Brooks Products has developed hundreds of innovations in the size and configuration of precast enclosures.

Our company was founded in 1910 as Art Concrete Works in Pasadena, California, where we designed and produced our first precast concrete box to house water meters in the City of Pasadena. From 1910 to the 1940's, we pioneered the use of the precast concrete enclosures for water and gas utilities. In the 1950's we expanded to include the electrical and telephone market. In 1953, we changed our name to the one you know and trust today, Brooks Products. As the needs for precast enclosures grew, Brooks continued to lead the way with new sizes, configurations, and applications. This allowed us to supply precast products to an ever widening customer base, including government agencies, municipalities, and private contractors. Brooks has enjoyed a long history of steady growth, competent management, and dedicated, talented employees. This has resulted in low turnover and a depth of skill and experience at every position. It is no wonder that today, that Brooks Products is the most recognized and respected name in our industry.
