Scope Of Work

CCLI is proud to be the Prime Contractor for a new 11,000 S.F. addition to State University's Hospital located at its campus in Stony Brook, New York. This has been a challenging project for several reasons. In addition to building a large new structure in what is an occupied area we have also faced the challenge of dealing with both emergency vehicle access (both ambulance and helicopter). Also the structural designrequired us not only to reinforce an existing parking garage which became part of the structural support, but to place the balance of the foundation on structural piles. Working with the University and its Consultants CCLI has managed to overcome these obstacles while still maintaining a safe work area with minimum disturbance to critical Hospital activities.
