Scope Of Work
Royder Road needed to be rehabilitated and expanded to accommodate the increased traffic demands caused by the nearby elementary, intermediate, and junior high schools. Our team worked with the City of College Station to transform the road from a major collector into a minor arterial roadway.
SERVICE DETAILS
The project includes two phases. Phase I involved the design of a 2,500ft expansion and traffic signal installation at the intersection of Green Perry Road and Royder Road. Phase II involves 2,700ft of roadway rehabilitation, the widening of Wellborn Road to allow for a two-way left-turn lane, and a traffic signal installation at the intersection of Royder Road and Wellborn Road. A traffic impact analysis was also conducted for both phases.
