Paul leads construction efforts at KPRS with over 30 years of experience in Industrial, Hospitality, Public Works, Entertainment and Tenant Improvement work. He and his team have become especially known as one of the leading large industrial distribution and warehouse experts. Part of Paul’s continuous success in the industry is the result of his consistent pursuit of better and more efficient strategies. He builds upon and develops new management systems and techniques which emphasize consistency, efficiency, and accuracy, while maintaining the necessary checks and balances for project operations. Paul is a proud father and enjoys spending time with his family and biking when he isn’t building some of Southern California’s largest industrial projects.
Paul Buse's Bio
Paul is one of last members of a generation that learned to build in a traditional mentorship setting. At a young age he began helping his father, a carpenter, on the job. By age twelve, Paul was making cabinets and installing doors. This early interest in creating and fixing things made a career in construction an inevitable path. Now, with over 35 years of industry experience, Paul is an integral leader at KPRS and has been with the company since its inception.
Paul’s ability to plan far in advance and anticipate obstacles has enabled him to expertly handle many of the largest and most complicated projects in Las Vegas and Southern California. A few of these include Caesar’s Palace – a 60 million dollar project that included building Frank Sinatra’s personal suite, the Sheraton in the City of Industry – a 40 million dollar project, and Bacchus Jeffrey Office Park – a 50 building office park with 340,000 SF of office space. Paul’s experience in the field has also been a critical component of his success; he understands projects from multiple angles and has a strong respect for the work done by his partnering subcontractors. Though Paul’s background is expansive, he has developed a special following for his Retail and Restaurant projects at KPRS.
Paul has a degree in Engineering and Construction Management and graduated Summa Cum Laude from Cal Poly Pomona. You will still see him on campus, though this time he is on the other side of the classroom. Paul’s love of mentoring led him to teach Estimating and Scheduling courses at his alma mater, where he continues to instruct. When Paul isn’t building or teaching, you can find him tending to his garden, in the kitchen cooking, or enjoying the Carlsbad waves with his family.

Rick has compiled a varied resume including public works, industrial , offices, tenant improvements. Rick started with company at time inception has proven his strong capabilities on many large complex . These include Perris Distribution totaling 1.7 million square feet. Rick then completed the tenant improvements for Whirlpool Corporation in only three months. Rick’s brings on-time on-budget. He works directly with client to ensure objectives program are met.
