Scope Of Work
Located on Charles Street near the Boston Public Garden, this full-service luxury hotel and restaurant evolved from three separate buildings which were combined to create 12,000 square feet of commercial space. Marc Truant & Associates, Inc. renovated the exterior of this 1850's brick structure and gutted and rebuilt the interior. The roof, floors, and plumbing, electrical, fire protection and mechanicals are new. The basement was excavated and the foundation underpinned to create approximately 2,000 square feet more space within the facility. Winner of Boston Magazine's Best of Boston 2001 Hotel Award, the finished hotel contains 12 guest rooms and one suite. The Bistro, with both bar and restaurant seating, was named as one of The Boston Globe's Top 25 Restaurants: "…the food and feel of the restaurant are like a soft but seductive melody, insinuating itself into your memory, calling you back."
