Scope Of Work
The John F. Miller School project, built for the Clark County School District, included the new construction of a 73,496 square foot elementary school located in Las Vegas, NV. The facility houses 120 special needs students, ages three to 22 years. The elementary school was constructed with a tilt-up panel structure, an exterior metal cladding, and tactile surface and visual stimuli equipped interior. Features of this project include protected outdoor courtyards with extra day lighting and play opportunities, wide hallways to accommodate wheelchair or walking equipment, wheelchair swings, medical offices, and a library. The John F. Miller School now provides the largest health care office in the school district for medically fragile and disabled students.
